The works of May Gibbs have long held a very special place in the Australian storytelling tradition.
While her work is well known to many who have grown up in Australia, her iconic
figures and illustrations reflect a unique interpretation of the “bush” that has been part of our folklore for generations.
has a very special place in the world. We recently gained access to their archive and are proud of it,
to present a capsule collection featuring some of their best-known figures and some of their lesser-known
works in the foreground.
