Thrasher Magazine aka the skateboard bible aka the most famous skateboard magazine in the world. Founded in 1981 in San Francisco, California, the magazine made a name for itself with the annual Skater of the Year Awards, regular music reviews and video formats such as Hall of Meat, Firing Lines and Double Rock. Until 2019, Jake Phelps was the decade-long editor-in-chief of the infamous mag, who sadly passed away suddenly. Rest in Piece Phelps.
